Back in January 2020, the squadron was first created. In actual fact, TITAN Contractors has existed a while before that, but our official INARA creation date is listed as the 23rd of January.
Since then, the squadron has grown from single digits to triple digits. Since then, the squadron has not only created our lore-friendly, branching narrative, but we've also created a friendly, diverse community. We're privileged to have hundreds of members join us and partake in our events, so creating TRIP Omega and seeing the interaction, the experiences and the memories made by players who chose to follow us has been incredibly special.
Elite Dangerous is a game close to my heart. Not only has this game allowed me to meet incredible people, but it has also given me an opportunity to explore a personal story. Starting the squadron two years ago only happened thanks to a conversation I had with one of my best friends, but since then it has grown to become and mean exponentially more. When we say thank you to every single Commander who participated in our trip, who helped us organize and overcome delays and difficulties, to those who interacted in our story, and to those it brought enjoyment to - we mean it.
TITAN would not be what it is today without you. Thank you, truly.
Fly safe, -CMDR Radiumio
Below is the route used in TRIP Omega. Feel free to utilise it once more to follow in our footsteps!
Note that the route was designed for a fleet carrier, but can of course be completed in a normal exploration ship.
THAT MADE THIS MISSION POSSIBLE
Commanded by CMDR Radiumio, the Solaris is the flagship carrier of the mercenary corporation TITAN Contractors. Outfitted with a large variety of services and protected by TITAN's own private army, CSF, the Solaris is equipped to tackle a large variety of obstacles, now tasked with spearheading the TRIP Omega expedition.
Commanded by CMDR Malarial, the Monty Burns has earned a reputation as a high-tech science vessel within the squadron. While previously subjected to brutal attacks on the squadron, the Monty Burns and its crew have triumphed through, and now serve the TRIP Omega mission, with the carrier continuing its usual trend of researching scientific anomalies and strange galactic phenomena.
Commanded by CMDR Shaterthomkolen, the Mortal Dictata is famed within the squadron for its extensive support of Operation Ida repair efforts. Having been involved in numerous starport repairs, the Mortal Dictata now serves TRIP Omega as a logistical support carrier, providing Tritium stockpiles for the carriers undertaking the mission.
Commanded by CMDR Sir-Duke, the Omicron Lyrae, while not truly a squadron carrier, offers its services to the TRIP Omega expedition with an extensive Tritium supply, and additional logistics support for moving Commanders or Tritium where it needs to go.
